I'm toying with a character idea for an upcoming Dark Sun game where I'll be a guest for a session or two. I've already got a couple of ideas on what the character might look like when finished, but I think picking the collective brain might provide interesting results
Here's the basic idea for the character:
How would you build such a character, taking into account all the regular rules of the Dark Sun (no divine classes, etc.).
I'd prefer the character to be human, half-elf or mul (or gnome, but obviously, that's not happening
), I can't role-play elves or eladrin, really. And I just don't see half-giants or dwarfs in the role. Thri-kreen might work (one of my ideas is a thri-kreen monk).
I plan to use the Thought Projection wild talent as the Voice of Nigoth (Nigoth speaks to the character all the time, but when he wants, he can make others hear him).
As you might have guessed, the character is intended to be slightly goofy and not really serious
But he should be effective in what he does.
I'm really interested in what you folks cam come up with
Thanks in advance!
* Nigoth features in several of Christopher Moore's novels, namely in The Lust Lizard of Melancholy Cove and The Stupidest Angel. The novels aren't, strictly speaking, fantasy, but both have their fair share of Kendra, the Warrior Babe of the Outland

Here's the basic idea for the character:
- the character used to be a slave in a city-state, managed to run away, ended up in the deep desert, where, on the brink of death, he had an encounter with a "god"
- whether the "god" was real (as in not imagined) or imagined (mirage, hallucination, whatever) is completely irrelevant
- the "god" is Far Realmsy in feeling (I'm thinking of using Nigoth, the Purple Horned Worm God* with Thousand and One Eyestalks)
- the character is his (its?) prophet now, preparing the world for the "god's" imminent return.
