Help with designing a Crusader (Bo9S)

Dandu, do you really think in a game that nerfed spells like Glitterdust that the DM wil allow equally or even more broken splatbook spells as written? Seriously?

No way will Wings of Cover get allowed. Power Word Pain? That should be stricken from the game even in a 3.5 campaign that allows other broken spells! Shivering Touch, aka the Dragon Slayer, is also unlikely to be allowed. As for Magic Missile + Fell Drain and the Enervation spell...I thought you were recommending a Paladin/Sorcerer build? And wouldn't hitting someone twice with Ray of Exhaustion fall under the "multiple spell effects from the same source not stacking" rule?

He asked. I answered. If you have a problem with this, feel free to be outraged.

Muhuhaha!

Note, very carefully, that Enervation is not an [Evil] spell, nor is Fell Drain an [Evil] feat. This is because dark is not evil.

And wouldn't hitting someone twice with Ray of Exhaustion fall under the "multiple spell effects from the same source not stacking" rule?
Quite possibly.

I may never say this again, so please note:

I agree with Dandu.

that is, to a degree.

I actually suggest a Cleradin build (cleric+paladin) who uses Paladin's Serenity or Dynamic Priest to go from very MAD to slightly MAD

If you're going to do Cleric + martial class, you may as well just go Ruby Knight Vindicator, then, and make a Cleric/Crusader/RKV...

OP, what'd you end up doing?
