Three words: Pixie Dread Necromancer

One of the guys I used to game with played in a compition with a Monk/Psion Pixie that owned a Ioun stone with Anti-Magic Field cast on it. (The rules were magic /psionics are different.)

His AC was incredable, the magic of his foes negated, his power was still on. It was a happy slaughter. (They changed the rules the following year.)

I think he would liked your Dread Necro Pixie:)

Can't summon non-flying creatures in the air.
WAAAAAAAT?!
Where does it say that?! I need to know what books I need to gather up and burn.
Summon zombie *things that can fly* then. You're the DM, have your Dread Necro Pixie have a custom Summon Undead spell that summons stuff with wings. Just command them to not fly. (Are unintelligent undead intelligent enough to start flying immediately if summoned mid-air?)

+1 for Raven Crowkings Faerie Encounters thread. It's awesome.

Also check out the user NeoTiamat on the FoS boards: Cafe de Nuit - Search He has several great threads on (dark) fey in Ravenloft: The Winter Guardian, The Midnight Market, The Fair Folk. His Ravenloft PbP the Eye of Anubis also featured some very nice fey encounters.

On the Dicefreaks boards there's a lot of work being done on the fey for the Songs of the Sidhe netbook here. Lots of stuff though with a focus on planar fey i.e. Faerie. As always they try to incorporate information from previous editions, planescape, 3E (Morwel etc), WotC fey feature articles and real-world mythology in the work.

Thanks guys, Celebrim and Aus_Snow you were both very helpful, and thanks for the link to Raven Crowkings thread i think thats gonna be very helpful.

Sorry it took so long to respond back to you guys i've been out of town and didn't have internet access.

Anyway thanks guys, Fallenibilis

Just found this thread.

Thanks for the kudos from everyone who mentioned my earlier thread. If you want to bounce some specific ideas around, let me know.

You might want to find Dragon Roots #1 if you can. It might be available in pdf form still from DRAGON ROOTS. I wrote an article for it (Faerie Encounters: New faeries to keep your PCs guessing) based off the fey material on EN World, which might be of some use to you.

in the campaign im currently playing in the DM uses fey alot, in fact we just got back from an adventure in the fey lands, in his world "Underhill" basically there were a bunch of dark druids who were trying to release ravenloft into faerun and they captured the keeper of souls: an unseelie (not sure if im spelling that right) fey but i digress, the fey in his world each have a hand of power, some of which are common and some of which only come into being every 100 years or so, we had a fey with the hand of necromancy which basically increased the power of any necromancer he touched by 100 fold for a few minutes, one with the hand of secrets: no secret could be kept from him if he touched you, the hand of flesh: he could do anything with respect to flesh, even turn you inside out, the hand of life: which im not sure what all it does but I almost died and he healed me and being a half undead necromancer it drained all the residual negative energy out of me which sucked, the hand of shadow: which basically meant he could move through shadows even being able to stab you in the throat through the shadow of your collar anyways i hope that gives you some ideas, if you need more let me know as I said its a fey heavy campaign
