Help with racial designs from Inuyasha

half demons

I was also thinking that halfdemons in d20 should be considered templates. For example, all demons have a time where they are completely human. So, wouldn't it make sence to have something to fall back to when that time comes. Besides, Naraku was first Onigumo and my theroy was that if he had a human body to go back to (not almost completely eaten) he would go back that instead of the mess of demon parts.

And on a different note, I think we need to decide on what system to base this on because I don't think d&d is goin to work. I'm thinking BESM d20. Its powerful and anime enough and everyone can be on the same page cuz you can download it for free on the web site

I have some knowledge on japanese mythology, so I might be able to help. First, evil and good, demons have free will to choose. Nothing is truly good or evil. Second, not every demon in japanese mythology appear the same, some appear human and some appear to be what their name implies. And not every demon is the same, one could take on tens of thousands of humans while another could barely take on one human.

On the comment for half-breeds, they are either beautiful or monstrously hideous, gaining only a portion of their pure-blood parent's power. And there are more demons then you listed, they are almost every animal type: crow; frog; bull; horse; moth; centipede; different birds; bats; ect.

D&D will never work for Inuyasha. I'll throw my lot in with RedRonin13 here: Use BESM d20.

I have a template you may like for simulating the abilities of some characters, as well as a new skill exclusive to that template that makes attacks more anime-like. I'm currently revising the Elements of Magic version for "Classic" elemental play; after that I'm working on converting it for all elements and the four alignment modifiers. Once I have that done and can convert it back to a non-EoM variant, I'll post it here.

On another note, if you did use D&D Inuyasha, how would you stat up the main man himself?

I've always thought he could be best represented by a feral half-fiend Gestalt Barbarian/Monk (ignoring the usual alignment restrictions) with the template I mentioned above. Which is, of course, a character I would never allow anywhere near any of my gaming tables :)

Exalted was definatly made for such things. in d&d the leaping and such would require far to high a level, atleast like 60? That doesn't include the crazy amount of damage....

Ok I got a couple of things. Fisrt, while I agree exalted would work better, I think this thread was focusing on d20, otherwise, I'd be all over that one
Secondly, I was thinking of how to make a demon and how he would progress. I'm thinking that at level 1 they would get 3 +4 bonuses to their ability scores and they gain ability scores at every 1 level instead of the usual 4. Half demons would be half that. (3 +2 bonuses @ 1st and +1ability score at every 2 levels) and of course 1/2 demons lose thoses bonuses at there time of weakness. What do you think?

A little about Wolves

Let me assist you with this development of the demon Wolf. First and foremost, wolves are extremely family oriented and extrodinarily protective of the pact. An adult wolf can be anywhere from 130 to 210 lbs, 2.5 ft from ground to back, and have paws that are larger than my hand out-spread. The females are generally lighter in colour, and the males are generally the heavy ones. Young male wolves (5 to 6 years) often venture out into the world for years. If they return to their pack, they are immidiatly accepted. This displays a high degree of honor. The wolf have honor and loyalty over all things. The Wolf Hengeyokai of Japanese mythos are 5 to 6 ft tall 140 to 190 lbs. when in human and humaniod form. The Hengeyokai have three forms. Human, animal, and hybrid. The hybrid is best described by the teenage mutant turtle theory. The speed you have listed is all wrong. 40 ft human/ humaniod and 55 ft animal. I do understand that this is a game of your own devising, but taking into account what an actual wolf does, their favored classes wold be fighter, ranger, or wilder. And i'm afraid that you have mis unterstood Kouga. Although he may be in a "Gang" of wolves, he would be considered lawful neutral just based on the way wolves are. By nature, wolves are very loyel to the laws of the pack, irregardless of whether or not how good ar bad their actions are. By the way, they should get the run and endurance bonus feats. Haven't you ever heard of the song "Run with the Wolf"??
