Probably the Thompson, or "Tommy Gun."

Don't have any stats for it, though. Sorry.

invented by gen thompson the original tommy gun was a 2 grip model that fired 230 grain 45cal bullets. the first clips held only about 20 rounds, hope that helps :)

the version popular for gangster movies had a 50 round "round" clip. it was originally called a "submachine" guin because it fired pistol ammo :)

In terms of Storyteller stats, I'd probably call a "Tommy gun" a "SMG, Large"

Difficulty 6
Damage 4
Range 50
Rate 3
Clip 32+1 (or 50, ifyou wan to be historically accurate)
Concealment Trenchcoat
capable of 3 round bursts, full auto fire, and sprays.

One might consider raising the difficulty to 7, on the basis that the modern ones are 6. But, considerignteh granularity of Storyteller, I'm not sure that raise is called for.

the thompson

hmm we actually have 2 of them at my Dept that work too, popular in WW2, the tommy gun uses stick mags or the gangsta type Drums, look up WW2 info and youll find all you need to know, Ammo 45 acp, etc... as for stats use the same dmg for a 45 cal SMG.

I'm not a gun buff, nor am I too knowledgeable with Storyteller stats, but...

wasn't the "tommy" gun prone to jamming/hangfire/whatever it's called when the bullet gets stuck and the gun shoots unevenly? I seem to recall hearing that because of the design of the clips, or the size of the bullets, or something, it was notorious for sticking and jamming when fired...

Maybe difficulty should be a 7, if modern guns are a 6...
