I just wonder... what on Earth made you write that post? :D

Well, this one brought me to 200... and I was hoping to lure lurkers into posting!

The only thing left I have to do is send some gp's in to become a full fledged member.. I really want to belong to this place... *sniff*

My internet surfing consists of checking email and coming to the site and boards.... Heck, I am here every darn day.... and night...:D

I lurked for a short while and was afraid to post since I'm a new gamer, but I started and have found that the more I spend on the boards, the better I am in the game. It has given me a lot of ideas and introduced me to some great folks.

:)

Heck, I have been gaming since '79... and I was afraid to post too! but hey, you only live once... give a few ideas out, take some... its all good!

I go through phases....

I will post a lot for a month or so, then not really post at all for a month or so.

Well, I enjoy reading this stuff more than actually posting but I try to be better. :)

(shameless post)

I admit I am a lurker, but mainly because of two things:
  1. I realize that what I want to say has already been said.
  2. Or, on posting threads, I usually end up answering my own question or problem.

Other than that, I'm just board shy.

By the way, I'm using this opportunity to up my post count, if nobody minds.

Hear Hear! I'm a big fan of that Mark Twain quote also.

I joined up in the big switch-over, but all of my board experiences to that point had generally involved making an ass of myself. So I lurked on and off until late December, posting all of twice in eleven months.

At the end of the year, I got the sudden urge to start posting, so I did. I try to post fairly carefully, because this is a great community and I'd prefer to be slowly welcomed into it than make an ass of myself again. :D
