Hero Lab to Support Mutants & Masterminds RPG

Today, Lone Wolf Development, Inc. announced that they have entered into a licensing agreement with <a href="http://www.greenronin.com">Green Ronin Publishing</a> that will allow Lone Wolf to produce Hero Lab data files for the <a href="http://www.mutantsandmasterminds.com">Mutants & Masterminds</a> Roleplaying Game. Hero Lab’s state-of-the-art character creation and evolution capabilities are uniquely suited to accommodate the rules and genres of an ever-widening variety of roleplaying games. Mutants & Masterminds data files are tentatively scheduled to release in Spring 2007, and will be available exclusively via electronic download at www.wolflair.com.

“We’re extremely excited to be collaborating with an industry leader like Green Ronin, and we look forward to showing players of Mutants & Masterminds just how invaluable a tool Hero Lab can be for them,” said Lone Wolf Development President Rob Bowes. “We’re already hearing from players who are eager to use Hero Lab to help them create their M&M characters.”

Huh. Well it'd definitely make working on characters a bit easier. Not being that familiar with Hero Labs, anyone know how easy it is to add your own powers to mix?

They just posted a new release that includes preliminary editing tools for d20. I played with it a little, and it looks pretty darn easy to use, but there's nothing for M&M yet (just the announcement). I'm going to be playing around with the editing functionality some more, but it looks very promising, and the product itself is SO easy to use. They've got a free demo version on their website, so you can give it a try for yourself!
