Thing is, given that they're supposed to be a pair of high school sweethearts who broke up when Claire was born, they seemed to present themselves with the right level of awkwardness.

Which is, I think, a perfect cover story for why they wouldn't be able to do more than sketch the basic baby story for Claire. They wouldn't have to make up the last 16 years or pretend to be lovey-dovey now or anything. Ideal for fake parents.

I thought they were Mohinder's from when daddy dearest was in Mohinder's father's apartment. Mohinder took the glasses off to take some pictures, then he ran without picking them up again when he realized someone else was in the apartment. Pretty sure the glasses were Mohinder's, or possibly his fathers, but Secret Agent Dad definitely picked them up at Mohinder's dad's apartment in India.

Except Secret Agent Dad was wearing the pair with the crack in the previous episode when he was talking to the ever-present football player rapist (10 points for anyone that gets the reference). I just don't remember what happened to crack them.

I loved Hiro's reaction to the message from the future: "I had a sword!" Also, I'm willing to bet real money that the rucas in the card room was Future Hiro (possibly with others) messing up the players. We never saw anyone get killed. Hiro just assumes that's what happened.

Nikki- I'm now convinced that she's not only not too bright, but really stupid. Mirror Nikki had two million stashed away and let Normal Nikki borrow 30 grand from a loan shark? And why fram DL? He may have walked away from the job, but there's no reason to think that he wouldn't have come around when presented with a fait accompli whenever MN decided it was time to stop sitting on the money.

But then, DL isn't any too bright either. He grabs the kid and leaves psyco muderer mom behind with two mil she can use to find him. (And yes, he is a crininal. He escaped from jail. Even if he could prove his innocence, he's still gonna serve time for that.)

Yeah, I figured that the bio parents were fakes pretty quick. But they did get someone who actually looks like she could be Claire's mom for the part. That was a nice touch. But her dad is giving really mixed signals. (I subscribe to the theory that he's not a bad guy. Well, not a BAD guy, anyway.) If he wants Mohinder around why didn't he get in touch with him and tell him what's going on and enlist his help? If he's not, then he shouldn't want him around!

Yes, the kid has a power(s). But they haven't (as of last week's TV Guide) decided what it is yet! It'll be whatever they decide they need when the time comes.

That was Evil/Mirror Niki. The bodies were torn apart, like in her garage, as she mentions to DL.

We see them dead later on in the episode.. ikiN admits she left in the middle of the night to kill them.

ikiN was laying low after the robbery - remember what DL said about not being safe after you steal that money? If the money was spent in Las Vegas it might have been traced back to Niki, and if Niki left town all of a sudden then DL (and others) might get suspicious. Particularly since people seem to think DL did the robbery - and if Niki suddenly had money, they might assume they can lean on Niki to make DL return the 2 mil.

I'm almost certain that DL took off with the money and Mikah.
