That would have been a fun ending, always good to have things go a little ..... awry. But having said that, it would have also been a pain if (as a result of that type of ending) every single subsequent episode had some weak meoldramatic moment about that situation.

Other nice little tidbits in the article, albeit in the usual 'staff dropping hints to keep interest-here's a carrot- kind of way" ;-) But, really, it's all good. I look forward to season 3 (yes yes, weakness of season 2 already discussed in countless other threads) -- but all in good fun, right?

Jeeze Louise. I didn't even know this. I am glad the strike affected the series then.

I've been enjoying it immensely.
