Crikey. I got a long look at this book today, and it looks good. Heavy on ideas and mechanics. Very much a DMs book. Make that, a DM with a desire to run large scale battles. The info on putting together troops seems very well done, and some of the tips on writing adventures are positively old-school. I mean, flow charts?

I've encouraged several people to buy it already. I haven't bought it but my cash flow in negatives. But I'm dying to borrow it from somebody.
