I'm excited because the WotC art directors used the concept sketch I did for the Vryloka's appearance (for those wondering, the adventurers in images 20 and 21 are Vryloka).

Is it the same found here?

Makes sense--the term derives from the Greek vrykolakas, and if memory serves, Greek folklore often described vampires as redheads.

No mispelling, the race would originally be called "vrykolaka", and became Vryloka during the development phase. And [MENTION=4086]Matthew L. Martin[/MENTION] : yes, I read up on the vrykolakas and old vampire lore when coming up with the race and the look for it.

DId you notice that there are several pictures with the same characters? I thought that was interesting.

It's something that started with Heroes of the Fallen Lands and continued into Forgotten Kingdoms. Apparently it's something they're doing for all the Heroes books. In picture 16, the marketplace one that I think is supposed to show a Shade looking to pounce on two market-goers, the two market-goers are the Elf and Human "main characters" from HotFL.
