HeroForge - Passing the Torch

Actually HF didn't go "POOF" with 3.5

IMC I use it to generate BBEGs from scratch so that I know they will be close to 100% correct.

And entering new data is extremely easy. You just have to Unhide the appropiate Sheet(s) (menu: Format>Sheet>Unhide) and add your data using the fomat in those sheets. For example adding a new race, you unhide Race Info and Racial Abilities.

But of course we all go with what we know. I used to use Steve's EXCEL sheet which was awesome ... in fact I preferred it to heroforge because you could create equipment lists, it would calculate encumberance, land speed and a lot of other things that are not done well in Heroforge. You could add data easily to Steve's sheet as well.

Hopefully someone picks up the Heroforge Torch. I would love to however time is not a commodity these days so I cannot dedicate any of it to something the deserves focus.

Consistantly causes a critical failure on my copy of Excel 2003. My computer is otherwise pretty stable. *shrug* Guess I don't need to use it.

Edit: Eh, followed the instructions on your page. It kinda works after about the third try. Qualifies as extremely annoying. Wouldn't be bad if it was only released as a "beta". Haven't looked at the tool beyond that, yet.
