Hexblade -> Acolyte of the Skin

Can you do a Hexblade6/Acolyte of the Skin by taking practiced spellcaster at 6th?
A Hexblade's caster level is 1/2 it's class level. (After it reaches 4th level)

So if you take practiced spellcaster at 6th, your caster level is 7th, qualifying for the acolyte which needs 5th, right?

If you take Practiced Spellcaster at 6th, your caster level is 6th, not 7th (PS has a maximum of your hit dice).

As to whether this meets the requirements for AoS, I'd need to reread the actual prereqs.

Alignment: Any nongood; Knowledge (the planes) 6 ranks; caster level 5th; must have made peaceful contact with a summoned evil outsider; must undergo the Ritual of Bonding.

CL 6 (Hex6 w/ Practiced Spellcaster) would qualify.

Interesting... you could also do something like Rogue 4/Warlock 1/Acolyte or Mindbender.
