I don't have my Complete Warrior on me. Do hexbades suffer armor penalties for spellcasting?

Not in light armor. I guess it's like a bard.

No penalty in light armor. Penalties for shields, medium, and heavy armor still apply. Also, the Hexblade is only proficient with light armor.

Hmmm. Kind of tough to make him into a front-line fighter though with that armor. I'll have to take another look at the spell list.
