I started a "what 1st level monsters should I convert" thread in General, figuring that it related to older editions as much as 4e. But now that it's full of homebrews, I was wondering if someone could slide it to the 4e homebrews forum.

I also wanted to know if it would be too obnoxious if I kept doing this- starting in General (cause, you know, we're talking about a general old edition monster list) and asking for them to be slid over later?

I'll gladly start everything in the 4e homebrew forum if y'all prefer, it just seems logical to me- but then, I don't know how irritating it would be to have me periodically going, "Hey, guys, again please?"

Thanks for pointing this out, I think that 4e homebrews is the most appropriate place for it, and I'll shift it over there.

For the future, I think the best thing would be to start the thread in homebrews and then put a thread announcing it in General, so that people can go and look over there if they want to.

Okay, from now on I'll start them in the house rules/homebrew forum, with a linky thread in general. (Maybe I'll just post a separate thread for the stats, with the "what should I convert" thread linking to them.)

Moruss, your idea is a good one- when I have some time, I'll try to set up an index.

Heh, much as I'd love to stick everyone's threads, if we do yours, then everyone will think their thread should be stickied.

It is linked to in the pick-of-the-week sticky, though.
