I just read the post by "Da Man" on our general board. It may be that I am LOOKING for the negative in what he has to say, but I see it. He writes a very negative approach in giving us a complement at the same time offering The Living Web as an alternate place to be for potential players.

I am VERY concerned about this person having even a remote involvement with T13K. He is the very reason I left Living Web. I don't appreciate his style, his views or his actions as they pertain to online gaming. It is difficult for me to feel that I express this strongly enough to reflect my true opinion.

I feel that his post should be removed. I also feel that a polite e-mail should be sent to him letting him know that HE is the reason at least one of us left to pursue a gaming environment that ALL can enjoy, not just the creators and their close friends. Finally, he should be invited to not come back.

These are my feelings and opinions. I appreciate any input/response that the rest of you may have.

I answered him before I saw this. As in, once I received your email. I can just delete the thread, but I think that's overkill. Let's just let it die I can moderate it however we decide though.

I truly believe that deleting the entire thread is best. Why have our dirty laundry with Jones aired on OUR site. If he wants to start a flame thread, he can host it. His negativity can only hurt us.

I remember Da Man from Living Web but not anything much about him. I've pretty much forgotten everyone over there except the cool players I had.

On a more pleasant note, I'm hoping to start up a campaign in about a month once I've moved into my new house and I get internet acess, get situated, etc.

I have a lot of thoughts about what it might be about... any advice on a good game to bring in new players would be appreciated.

Well, they seem to have liked our PostNuke site idea. They also have people who can do stuff with it that I just don't have the skills for. :/
