Whoa, this is the first time I've ever seen a thread directly addressed to me.

Okay, so you've got my attention. If you've been following the updates on my site, you'll see what happened. I'm not really sure how much I'm at liberty to say, as I don't know everyone involved. I'll say this:

The book is delayed due to a medical concern for one of the freelancers working on the book (not me). Presumably, someone else will complete the job, but it will a) not be out by Gen Con, and b) be delayed until October.

I really hope Spycraft doesn't change significantly between now and then. I'm having flashbacks to what happened with Mercenaries: Born of Blood...

Anyway, there you have it. If I hear anything else I'll update it on my site.

No sweat! Sorry for the direct address. I just thought there might be others out there waiting on it. I saw that it was delayed on your website, just wasn't sure why. The reason I'm so anxious is that I have an Amazon gift certificate with your name all over it...as soon as the book comes out, that is.

No reason to apologize, I appreciate you at least asking me directly. I give a lot of advance notice about quite a few books I work on and I'm always amazed that word never gets out. So ask away!

Dude, my MOM has pre-ordered it from Amazon and bugs me about it every other week. I feel your pain.
