High Elves of Any Fantasy Setting

Raymond E. Feist has several versions of elves, which while similar, differ in some respects to most other described elves when I read his novels. DND based, but with his own adjustment, especially with some of his more recent books.

Due to the Rift Magic, and the past history of Midkemia, various species, including elves, have had different evolutions/social adjustments compared to their kin on other worlds.

In the Dragon Age rpg, Elves have been defeated by humans and live in ghettos, dominated by the human kingdoms. Some of their clans are still free in their ancestral forests.

Dragon Age Elves wouldn't be High Elves. The Dalish, at best, would be considered Wood or Wild Elves.
