That would improve their livability a lot. Besides that, there is nothing to say you couldn't also make a heal check on one that got dropped, as a houserule I guess - because minions don't have a bloodied value (though I suppose you could use 1/2 or even their entire their Con score). They could also make death saves, again as a houserule.

FWIW, I'd allow it.
