Torn Asunder is well worth picking up. It was the Silver ENnie Award winner for Best Rules Supplement at the 2004 ENnie Awards.

Seconded. Torn Assumder is an excellent resource...as long as your group is not completely bookeeping averse. It has all the hit locations, easily applied rule impacts of hit locations...with different effects and healing time depending on the amount of damage done.

However, the best part of Torn Assunder is how modular it is. The rules as written are to be applied on Critical Hits. However, the system is so simple it can be triggered just about anything. For instance, our group used the Torn Assunder system to determine the impact of a failed Massive Damage Threshold save...worked perfectly.

An excellent, excellent book.
