Hey Maldur, Mystras, HIVE and All!

Things are rocking at HeadQuarters today. Saturday morning cartoons for the Gelflings and various rambunctious antics... I just finished setting up Lord of the Rings RISK for when our guests arrive in 45 minutes, and I'm negotiating with another e-publisher about imprinting them under ENPublishing.

Ooooh ooooh Lord of the rings risk? I loved risk as a kid,mix lotr with that and I am ready to give you my soul.Ooops ,already gave that to the hive,how about a half a pack of cancer and all the sam adams you can drink?

Hopefully they'll be demoing LotR Risk at GenConUK again this year, so I can finally get a game. It looks like great fun to me. Did the expansion come out, or are we still waiting for it?

Not right now. The nerves tend to come....ooo....just as you walk in the door.

I'm going to look over the audition piece again tonight, have a further think about it and the voice and physical characteristics I'm going to use. They've said they want something big and loud rather than small and quiet, which is good, so I'm pulling in all the biggest loudest most over the top people I know to base it on.

Too bad you don't know my brother,he is the loudest,most brash,and annoying person ever.....but you gotta love him for it.

Hmmm...don't think any of the characters are actually annoying. Cowardly, incompetant, conniving, intelligent, charismatic...incoherent...um...loosing the c/i/c system here but not annoying.

Rincewind is a failed Wizard. He believes in his soul he is a Wizard. Nature designed him to be a long distance sprinter. He is uniquely good at running away from things. I would love to play him, but doubt I am going to be able to. There are several others roles I'd like, though.

Good day to all the hivemind friends,I am off to work on my replacement character for tonights game.I am going with a wiz13/archmage1,no surprise there eh? lol What can I say I love wizards.......hmmm .....what to pick for high arcana.....???....perhaps mastery of counterspelling....

Sports Night is one of the best shows. Should never have been canned and I'm so happy it is out on DVD and in my player right now. Just felt like sharing how much I like this show!!
