Five MILES from a doctor?

I know I live in a densely populated area but there are 4 or 5 practises within the square mile where I live! That must be thoroughly crippling if you don't have a car. What if there was an emergency?

We'd have to call an ambulance or just drive to the hospital. I've had to a few times in my life. Drive to the hospital, that is.

deal with it. Sounds sarcastic but true. If it is a big emergency (aka life threatening) you may call 911 for a police officer or ambulance to set you. (at the pop of several hundred!!!!!!) ((sorry- I'ld bleed all over my car first))
