[Hivemind] - Bounce bounce bounce

Hello randomling, and everyone.

Do any of you paint miniatures? I just gotten the urge to get back into collecting and painting minis, now that they're so useful in my games...

Hiya Randomling! Doing good, how are you? I'm babysitting Tallarn's online game accounts while he's at GenCon.

Edit: and howdy, tRO. Yeah, I paint minis, although its been 3 years since I had the time to do so seriously, but I was pretty good; got really good at highlighting and shading, etc.

I'm trying to figure out a way to get some suitable paints without investing too much cash. I have this big habit of involving myself in a hobby and then dropping it after one or two days. So I want to minimize costs. :p

I'm playing Equinox and trying to get back into Outwar... but I haven't been online for a while. So my money is small and pathetic. (Attacked.)

Get geared up if you can, randomling - we are launching a major offensive next Tuesday, a day our enemies will long remember as they cry themselves to sleep :D

Despite the price, I thoroughly recommend GW's line of Citadel paints. Best paints I ever worked with; nothing else I've tried comes close. They usually have starter deals and such at a reduced price.

Gen Con, well despite massive delays in everything plans are going ahead for it, So i'm gonna say, as of now yes i'm going.

I also paint mini's, i use games workshop paints. I hear tell that reaper's paints are good, but no one in the area really caries them.
