I get my hair cut to about 1/2 an inch every couple of years, then let it grow inbetween. When I finally go back for another haircut, I usually have at least 12 inches of hair that needs to go. I donate this to a charity organization that makes wigs for children who cannot grow hair for one reason or another. Its a small thing, but it makes my heart warm to think that somewhere there are sick children who can enjoy having a full head of hair because of my gift.

Yo! Whassup?

Edit: Blasted 60 second rule and failing to keep my message type stuff. Bleh.

Heading off to work like right now.

The good news: I've been offered £500-odd to do a research project for the charity I volunteer and work for. The bad news: it has to be done by the end of March!

Thats it! Thanks, Clay, I couldn't think of their name OTOH. :) Yeah, looking like a scruffy hippy 90% of the time is a small price to pay to put a smile on someone's face :)

I would probably remember but I'm nearing my next haircut so its been over a year since I thought about it. However, my hair is about half-way down my back again, spring is coming, and I'm getting tired of taking care of it again. Almost time to go get shaved again and give it to the people who really need it :)

In dollars, that's like $750? (If I remember what Clayman told me after he got back from his trip...) :)
