Yup, my antivirus did that as well, and now it's just broken, my computer also sometimes gets really slow and jumpy even in mouse movement, the window will get an irregular red spot/line at the bottom, then I have to turn off the computer

Ashwyn, the only other things I can think of are defragging your hard drive and downloading all the latest patches from microsoft. I'm guessing you've probably done this, though.

I did get the patches, but I haven't defragged my hard drive in a while. I should do that. Thanks for the reminder.

nope, XP, but I think I messed it up with Grokster. It's better than it was once when I couldn't even get the computer to work

I'm using Norton, but I need to get a new one, as my subscription ran out, and my antivirus found and deleted a virus in itself, so it's kind of amputated
