Ill start the good vibes! What kinda job?

Just night auditor for a hotel on Padre Island. The job is not exciting, but the pay is decent and it will help make my plan of finishing my degree a little easier. I actually like night jobs, and working alone so when I can make decent money doing it, hey, who can complain?

Padre Island is Texas' beach resort and tourist spot. Though its been developed for some time it never really took off. that has begun to change over the past few years, and more development and much more tourism has come into the area. Its a pretty big Spring Break spot. The beaches are clean compared to other Texas beaches, but not as impressive as the Atlantic or Pacific beaches. its nice though, not quite so crowded and not near as pricey as other beach spots.

Sounds like a fun place to work! :)

I think so. The scenery (both kinds:D) I very nice, and the in house restraunt is pretty good, which is great since I eat free! The management seems very friendly and informal, and it will leave me some time to study or write on many nights.

One funny thing, today I found out one of the employees went to High School with me. We were not friends in school, in fact much the opposite, but now he seems pretty cool. Funny how that happens, huh?`

LOL Its already getting to the hundreds here! I think cold weather would be a nice change. Here in Texas we actually only have two seasons. Freaking hot, and freaking dreary but still warm. Last year I only had one day with frost, not even a hard freeze.

I know I would hate cold weather if I ever had to live in it though. :)
