Does anyone notice that, if you leave and then come back on a phpbb board, the new messages disappear?

Gonna check my admin panel but does anyone know of a way to change that?

I know what you mean. If you leave and then come back, the markers denoting unread messages are updated regardless of whether or not you actually read the messages!

If you log out and then log back in, then yeah, it updates the new message flags. This site does the same thing.
