That sound like a nasty case of RPIRL (role play in real life) you have there simmo. Make sure Tallarn hits you over the head with a frying pan again before you do the same thing as last time..

I'm still stuck at work at the moment and will probably be here for another 30 minutes at least. How about going out for pizza somewhere? Or would you rather go for Nandos or somewhere else?

One of the Ghereleths wandered through the office awhile ago to use the printer. I sat very still and just nodded my head once. This metal triangle I found must be working. :D

Not Pizza, please, I've had that several times this week...:D But Nandos would be cool, and I'm prepared to pay for that nice chicken. Mmmmm. Might be quite crowded.

I've never played in a game with a lot of devils and demons. I have this vague idea about a Buffy style D&D campaign, only with varying amounts of outsiders rather than undead. Could be lots of fun. Start out with a dretch attack, and then have a large part of the Blood War show up on the Prime Material Plane.

Even more fun...use D20 Modern or Mutants and Masterminds and really mess with the players heads...

Of course, you wouldn't tell them. You'd just describe the creatures, without using the MM illustrations.

I'm lost in office space. :(

It's a bank holiday weekend and everyone is away. Even the streets outside the office are pretty deserted.

There are some clouds in the sky, but there has only been the occassional light shower of surrealism. I'm trawling through some old Planescape sites at the moment and was inspired to include Ghereleths in my next few sessions. However, the life expectancy of the group would go down a little.

Oh well, I'll save the Ghereleths for later. Hey, that's kind of catchy. "Save the Ghereleths". "Don't Attack Carceri". "Don't bomb Apomps". OK, a little too political and surreal :)

And another test cycle has just started.... the joy.

You didn't *pong*! 1-0 to me!

*thwack's ball back at Simmo*

You do not sound happy. I think going out to dinner will cheer you up. Tell you what, I'll even sit with my back to the room so you can look at any pretty ladies that might wander by...:D

"Civil Rights for Petitioners!"

Can you wait until 8pm to go to Nandos? The dinner rush should be over mostly and we shouldn't have to wait too long to get a table.

Bring some dice in any case :D Nothing clears a restaurant or pub faster than a group of gamers sitting in the corner hunched over character sheets, rules books and the familiar sounds of many dice being rolled.

Ah, frell. I forgot about the ping pong game.

Just you wait until I get my fleet of Protos Carriers warped in :) There are some lovely ladies that go out in the Angel area of London. If you happen to come across anyone called 'Door', please give me a shout :D

Have you managed to find any sites that give hints on how to play dwarves in "Thud"?

I'll bring RULEBOOKS! :D

I can wait. I had a late lunch. Anyway, I have that tube of Pringles if I get peckish. Shall I meet you there at 8pm, or do you want to tell me when you're leaving?

(Of course, we could have had this conversation by email, but that wouldn't have been half as much fun)

Hey, good idea. I'll bring your Early Learning Dice. If we can't shift people with those, all hope is lost...:D:D:D:D:D

Let's meet there at 8pm. If I can make it earlier, then I'll give you a call from the bus.

I'm note sure where my Early Learning Dice are. The last time that I saw them they were somewhere near my computer. If you have a metal tin to carry them in - we may not have to take them out at all for them to work :D

I guess that it is a bit too late to invite Randomling. I've been inspired with another plot hook after reading this HiveMind thread and just want to run the idea past you. It's supposed to be a funny plot twist, but I'm afraid wombats are known to hurt DMs when provoked.

Enjoy the film. I'll be watching it in approximately 16 hours and 45 minutes, but who'se counting :)
