Well...I'm back at work...and hence, back in the hive.

How are folks doing today?

Doing good, although I stepped out for an hour and came back to find the place nearly deserted. I just found a cheater in Outwar and reported him to the admins, Monday at work is slow, Maldur and mirthcard need to come back and judge Ceramic DM before I chew all my nails off, and I just figured out how to deal with my cocky, undead-loving D&D group.

Heh, are you sure? Its mildly addictive...

Basically its just a silly online game where you can be a gangster, monster, or pop-star. You gain power and money by getting people to click a 'secret' link (for instance, this is my secret link ), and then you can buy guns and stuff and attack other players to take their stuff.

One warning - the game will spawn a couple of pop-ups from clicking the link. If you're not a big fan of pop-ups (who is?) or they could potentially crash your PC, don't click the link above. It is fun, though, IMO, and has wasted countless hours of otherwise mind-numbingly boring work time for me.

That's a pretty ingenious idea for a game/ad mechanism.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. Someone is getting rich off this little 'free' game from all the ad-clicks. Wish I'd thought of it

I thought of one...

Basically a woman fully clothed, but the more you click on her (which opens ads of course) the more clothing she sheds.

However, there are "land mines" where if you click the wrong piece of clothing she puts more clothes on!

Someone go make millions with this, then buy me the 3.5 core books please.

and to go a step further...

There are a number of different 'strippers' available, but you start with just one. However, if you get other people to visit the site you will build up credits that allow you to unlock the other strippers!

Nice addition.

I figure you could also hit "bonus levels" where you get streaming video in 15 minute increments.

Eventually you can collect more and more members of your group (people you referred to the game) and you could choose to share some of your links with them, if they do a good job.

Now we just need a name for this service...
