Now that would be excellent!:D Hey knight would you do me a favor and read my entry into ceramic dm?I just posted but have not had anybody to sound it against,I would appreciate it if you could tell me what you thought.

Afternoon all. UnD, Slipdoors sound very interesting. Several plot uses for them. Although I'd keep the number of them in your world very small, like less than 5.

Evening, Carnifex. What kind of stuff is in Steam & Steel?

Lessee. Basically an entire system for putting steam technology into a fantasy setting. Discussion of themes and styles that can be used with steam technology (like steampunk) and the ramifications of steam technology (like industrialisation). Rules for using, creating and sabotaging (;)) steamwork devices, and rules for lots of different forms it can take (from conventional steam power driven by a coal-burning engine to complex arcanomech creations or even sinister necromantic engines). Rules for different levels of quality (from shoddy, smog-belching and rivet-ridden hunks of metal to highy advanced forms) and using materials other than metal. A large equipment section including dozens of steamwork devices, from steamwork familiars to arcanomech eyes, as well as steamwork technology used in weapons and armour. A section on larger scale steam technology, from mining drills to factories to oil rigs (!). A section on steamwork prosthetics :D and a big section on steamwork constructs and vehicles. Add in four PrC's (the Inspired Inventor, Mechanist, Metalworker and Steel Knight) and a small handful of flavoursome spells, and it's all coming along nicely :)

To expand further, Steam & Steel is designed so that you can import as much or as little steamtech into a fantasy setting as you want :)
