Say Clay, is that a Taurus revolver? I like the looks of it. Is that a four inch full shroud or a little smaller, hard to tell from the picture alone.

smith+wesson L frame 686, .357 magnum with custom hogue grips and manhunter sights.

it got second in the indy quick draw contest (against swat guys:D ) and 3rd in accuracy from 5 ranges.

wedding present from my brother

Oh, and a quick story from Sunday's game.

A Planetar was hit by three fireballs, and we worked out three seperate reasons why it couldn't be affected.

1) It's the Planetar of a Fire God, so it's got the [Fire] subtype.

2) It's immune to spells of up to level 3 via it's aura of protection.

3) They couldn't get through it's spell resistance. :D

Ah, y'see, my players fought a proxy of a forge god yesterday, mightily annoyed teh wizard because he couldn't use his fireballs.

Liked it even less when the proxy opened up with a flamestrike. I hadn't realised the wizard only had 22 hp's (at lvl 8!) and he was 1 point off dying from the damage! Luckily the Athar priestess stayed up on her feet to heal him quickly...

And they were fighting on a branch of Yggsdrasil too. So it got set on fire...

Sweet...how, exactly?

well, i had spent a long time moving frequently and living in squallor working 14 hours a day at apprenticeships that paid 2 dollars an hour.

i owned nothing that could not be put in a ford ranger, and knew noone who didn't buy, sell or make pots.

i had settled, adn chosen a wife, and had 60 acres, 2 barns, horses, cows, the whole bit, and he figured for the first time in my life i had something to protect.

it was twisted sweet, but it was sweet. it has kept our freezer full for almost 7 years now. please do try to kep a more rural mindframe..i have had to use this gun for coyotes, and once to put down a horse. it si not pretty,a nd i am not a gun nut, but a firearm is a different thing (imho) in the middle of nowhere than in, say, a city :)
