I just read this page to catch up one what I've missed. I think less than 10% of everything typed here makes sence. I may have to go back and read previous pages to get some idea of context.

How s ceramic going?

Unless some weird trick of fate adds an extra five hours into tomorrow at some point, there's pretty good odds I'll end up forfiting. I had a plan that had enough space to get my marking, ceramic DM and the Con done before the end of monday.

Then I got a phone call telling me i was covering someone elses classes next week, teaching something I know nothing about in relation to a book I haven't read.

I'm holding out hope I'll magically get something done early, but the scattered free time I'd set aside for ceramic DM was my break from work today, and the boards were down so I couldn't see pictures.

And now it's late and I'm whinging. God I hate Thursdays.

Mark will be writing a book on what happens to characters after they are retired.

There will be rules for sending your characters to a retirement home, or Assisted Living complex, various races opinions on old adventures and there retirement. (Orcs tend to eat their own, and then steal thier stuff as opposed to the Halflings who steal thier stuff and then eat them.)

Included in the OGL will be rules for wrestling night nurses, Using charisma to get a better spongebath, and using bluff to keep people intersested in your old "War" stories.

Web Enhancements will include "Retiring your Epic Character" and "Divine Ascension and Bedpans." to coinside with with the Epic Rules Handbook and Dieties and Demigods rules when they hit the SRD.

Look for "Knocking on Heaven's Door: Retired Characters" in a friendly gaming store near you.
