Yeah. I quit today. I have quit a few times over the years, for months at a time. The last attempt met with utter failure. Now, I am on a plan. No more smoking. I've never been a heavy smoker, less than half a pack a day, generally. What made things hard was staying with some chain smoking friends for a couple of months. I had been smoke free for 4 months, and then I lived with them. By the end of the first week I needed to smoke just so I could breath something that had not come out of their mouths. Ewww. Great people, but really heavy smokers. Anyway, it seemed to really make it so that my smoking was not casual anymore, and I have no intention of this staying with me forever.

Actually, it's gonna maybe be an article in EK's zine. I guess they're doing an entire issue on Steampunk.
