What, you can't do both? I'm an anime fan, but I don't think making the lines too clean is a good idea. If you go anime, go the way of the Ghost in the Shell movie, which kept more grit, and less BESM. I did notice one of the characters had elements that reminded me a little of Rob Liefeld. Is that common in your work?
