[Hivemind] The all-new Hivemind Diet!

Never heard it called that before. I never drink coffee in the mornings. I've never been much on caffeine either. I'm all about the OJ.

Juice usually has to much acid in it for me in the mornings. Straight orange juice usually has to much acid for me at all times, but most kinds of juice are usually afternoon fare for me.

Among my friends, the milk-two-sugars mode of coffee got renamed the first year special. For some reason, it's how every first year arts student tends to drink their coffee :)

In college, which was proabably the only time I drank coffee semi-regularly, it was half cocoa/coffee. We had one of those cool cappuccino+everything else machines in the lobby, so it was pretty easy to get both.

I've been meaning to ask, what is your doctorate-to-be in? Art?

Writing. Specifically, how writers and poets engage with counterculture, and how that's effected by modern approaches to advertising and marketing.

How far are you along in your thesis? That sounds very interesting. I'd love to taker a peek at it if you wouldn't mind.

Hey, Terraism. Fighting off the remaining effects of my Evil Cold.

Skade's right - it does sound fun. But, unlike him, I don't know if I'd want to read it. I tried reading my ex-stepmom's doctoral thesis last week, and I swear my head nearly popped. :)

Skade - glad you're getting over the cold. I woke up this morning with no voice. Otherwise fine shape, just no voice.

Not all that far. Because it's a writing thesis rather than a lit one, I actually spend a fair amount of my time writing a novel to go alongside the thesis rather than the thesis itself.

Well, aren't you the busy one? :D Just something I've noticed. You have many projects going. Good luck on those. Offer remains should you ever want an opinion, on the thesis or the book. How did you come to write a novel alongside a thesis? What's the basic plot?

Terraism, that had to suck. I've been feeling fine for a few days, except for a nagging cough. Apparently my throat was coated in nasty stuff. That is all being expelled now.

Don't you just love the comfort level of the Hive?

Well, my very busy workshift has finally ended. Thanks for the tip on the hex downloadable, arwink. G'night all, and Enjoy the Day!
