I have seen pics with and without beard. But why does he look so much darker ( and crosseyed ) with beard?

I'm sorry, did I steal your sleep? It should be noted that I only slept about 4 hours, but I didn't keep waking up every half hour, so I think that made the difference. I'll make sure to get your sleepy time back to you.

Well, Tallarn has very dark hair but quite light skin, so I guess more hair = darker looking.

As for cross-eyed, I think that's just a bad picture or two. The ones Clay took were when he'd broken his glasses and he had contacts in, they might have an effect on the way his eyes look in a photograph. (Don't know for sure, I've never worn contacts.)
