it kind of works like this: The more respect for the work you're doing, the less money you earn for it

To clarify:

Adverts - minimal time, lots of pay, no one cares in the acting community

Film - time varies, pay varies, people quite impressed

TV - right in the middle

theatre - 6 month contract, minimal pay, everyone very impressed

although looking back, that seems badly explained...and I don't know where radio work fits in *shrug*

So yes, I would do adverts. I need the money!

Adverts are exhausting!

I did one commercial (I used to be a stiltwalker). Three days of racing round, I was so tired, I think I slept for a few days afterwards.

But it was fun!

(and yes it was a beer commercial, Grolsch)

I was in an add for a local gaming store. They were filming in their store and were asking costumers to be in it. I've never actually seen any of the comercials aired though.

Sorry, but I have a running joke about dubbed US TV ads that get shown over here. For some reason, you can always tell when it's an American ad rather than a british one. Something about the style.
