I have to make another Divine Rank 5 Deity from scratch. I spent about 3 hours today working on the Guardian of the Watchtower of the North...still three more to go. And I'm doing one a day...if I live that long.

The reviews for that movie were pretty bad, but you say it was enjoyable. I never trust reviews anyway. The best movie however is Donnie Darko

It's not shakespeare, it's not clever, it's guns and explosions. If you go thinking anything else, yes, you might not like it. I've found that people ussually dislike movies because of what they are not, not because of what they are.

For my homebrew campaign....my girlfriend is going to be running a game in the world's past...and she and I have been working out a lot of things. She wanted to use the old Celtic ideas for the powers that grant magic, and I loved the idea. Problem being...I'm the only one with the knowledge of the game to really MAKE the things. So I'm stuck designing these things...even though I LIKE to, its just...50th level character from scratch is kind of a lot.

At the moment, the poor PCs are only 6th level. Thankfully though, they won't be fighting AGAINST the Guardians. Its more of a tactic to scare the crap out of the PCs, but she(and I agree sadly) thinks its better to just stat them out. Besides, I like the idea of the Guardians so much that I'm going to find a way to save them over to my campaign in the future of the world....where the PCs happen to be around 28th level and uncovering the history of the world.

Probably shouldn't gripe about it though. Its something to do, and it gets me even more used to the numbers.
