I'm back. I slept for a few minutes, but when I woke up I couldn't breathe again. I can't take much more of this.

To be perfectly honest, all the logos you've displayed so far aren't that good. They are too busy to be instantly recognizable and not easily read. Whoever anti-aliased the transparent ones did a poor job.

Anyway, here's a quick one I did.

Not really, but I just took some medicine that will hopefully clear up my sinuses and help me sleep. I quite honestly don't know why the heck this is happening, but it's scaring me. My doctor said it might be some kind of virus, but he couldn't give me anything besides what he already had. I hope it clears up soon, whatever it is. He also said it might be sleep apnea, which is really scary. In case you don't know what that is, it's where you actually stop breathing when you sleep. I'm really hoping it is something much easier to fix.

Sure, go ahead.

I don't mean to sound snobbish when I made that comment. I used to make a living designing title graphics. Legibility is VERY IMPORTANT. Also a good logo doesn't arise overnight. Dusk when through 6 logos in relatively rapid succession before I settled on the walrod font one you see now.

Here's a trick when antialiasing something that will be made into a transparency. Choose a color that closely matches the background that the transparency will appear in front of that. If it's multicolor choose a grey tone that roughly matches the brightness of the final version. NEVER USE BLACK OR WHITE, you'll get that ugly halo effect you see on some of the logos. If you feel you must use black or white as your test background turn anti-aliasing off.

He said since this has only been going on for two weeks that it isn't apnea, and he seemed really sure, but I just might have to try to see another doctor about it. It sure seems like some kind of infection though, because my ears are affected and sometimes hurt, so I think that's probably what it is.
