I vote #1. I like its layout better than #3 (which seems much too unassuming in that regard), and the "weird letters" of #2 has become passe by now (IMO anyway).

The first one is kind of bland, but the second one works. It just seems a little crowded and confusing. Maybe if you did to the second one what you did to the third, you'd have a winner.

Well the third layout is the same as the first, except for word position. Maybe if you moved the second layout's word positions, it would be less compunded.

Like maybe:

The
Emerald
......Sage

Maybe make the "the" smaller and put it entirely above the "E," and move "Sage" over to the right a bit and add some mystical scrollwork immediately to its' left.

But that's just a thought

Youy know, I like the one EK just posted. I like it for an odd reason though, the swirly lines remind me of a fingerprint, and as I would like at some point to do something about mystery games, that strikes a chord with me.
