Yeah, sigh, season 6. And the edited version too...:(

I have to wait till tomorrow night to see the unedited version. Bleh.

What the heck is that Bebo guy all about anyway? When did all that happen?

Edited version?

bebo is apparently a friend of gamecat, our resident iconic sociopath. bebo (no caps for his name, I belive) is just odd. Incoherent most days, but not usually in a offensive manner. What is strange is that I think I'm beginning to understand his noncaps ranting.

I've come to understand him too, Skade. I think I was the first one to puzzle out what a changle was (other than gamecat, of course). I've also become quite fond of him and his strange little rants - they never fail to brighten my day.

Imagine my surprise at finding there was a whole webpage devoted to some of his quotes... apparently I'm not the only one who enjoys them.

I will confess that I didn't stumble upon the site by accident. A friend of mine from up north sent me the link.

I's just writing spells over in House Rules....

Um, could y'all be a little more careful with the buffy spoilers there, I had no idea Tara got shot...

No real worries, I have plenty of future knowledge about the show, but...y'know.

Crothian - um, edits? Buffy and Spike? Not really suitable for 6.45pm British television, especially the handcuffs bit...and some of the violence gets toned down a little. I've never minded because the BBC has always shown the undedited version late the following night, and I'd rather see some edited Buffy at 6.45pm than see it disappear to stupid times because it wasn't.

Sky (satellite channel) got a lot of flack when they showed Series 6 because they didn't show an unedited version, and lots of buffy fans complained. So the BBC are wise to show both.

Clarification - Sky paid more money, so they got to show it first, but you have to pay extra in UK to see Sky shows, whereas the BBC is available to everyone. So I have to wait, but I don't have to spend a lot of money :D

OK, off to watch some football now (Liverpool vs Celtic, UEFA Cup), back in about an hour or so. *waves*
