ok here's the basic plot.
It's basically set in and around the sword coast reigon.
You are the survivors of two seperate parties, who've been totally decimated by a combination of undead and other various nasties.
You finally manage to crawl out of the subteranian tunnels of the Sapphire Mountains east of Amn and make your way to a small seeming house reeking of magic and a strong, positive neutral good aura. A woman lives there who is said to be able to heal those who can reach her.
The house is attacked by undead under the control of the same unknown entitity that decimated your two parties. Together you and the woman escape.
As the story progresses, you learn that these attacks are not random and that the armies of darkness, destruction and general nastiness are on the move, wrecking havok wherever they go. your mission is to find the bad-guy responsible for this and stop him/her or it.
