Lookspring pries his two arrows out of the wood but after examining them he finds them unusable. Tossing them aside he readies another arrow before moving through the curtain into the next room. Over his shoulder he says, "Hurry up and finish checking this room. We'll need you for bait in the next one."

Phoenix decides to continue on into the next room with the others. "Even if we don't find the items right away, we can always double back to search more after we clear out all the vermin."

"Phoenix make a good arguement. We can clear this place out so we do not have to worry about no vermin while we search." Korash replies as he moves to the other room.

"I just reaaaaally wish these things were of the more receptive sort," Tumna says, pouting a bit, "it's really unsettling when you can't tell what they're thinking about."
She follows the others to the next room, brandishing her dagger.

sorry Ive been slacking with you guys, life is hectic right now with ERP implementations and aquisitions.

And so leaving the first room relatively unsearched the group heads into the back of the house. Beyond the archway where Korash tore down the makeshift curtain lies another large room, nearly as big as the front half of the building. Beakers and other glass squat on shelves and tables about the room. Directly ahead, a section of wall cuts into the room, its purpose unclear for now.

As the group pours into the room Tumna heads left along the wall, while Lookspring and Kamdar push out into the room.

[sblock=Tumna]There is a door in the back northeastern corner of the room. Most of the rest of the party probably cant see it.[/sblock]
[sblock=Lookspring, Kamdar]The section of wall that cuts into the room is a stairway, thick with dust and dirt, and going up to the second floor.[/sblock]

Tumna knew that curiosity killed the cat, but she couldn't help put open the door she had noticed and peek in before noting its existance to the others.

As the rest of the group spread out looking for foes Tumna slid north allong the wall and then east until she stood in a small area between where the wall jutted out and what was clearly the outside of the building.

[sblock=Tumna]The door is locked. Immediately to the right of the door in the east wall is a door in the south wall. Perhaps a closet...[/sblock]

Hanging in there. Better than the alternative.
"Well, there's some stairs back here." Kamdar takes a look around. "Wait, don't we have to do a little searching to find all the bugs anyway? At least, the last bugs only came around when I was searching."

Kamdar and the others wheel about, looking for ideal places to search, but quickly realize there really arent that many good places. The tables are of the standard wood variety, open on the bottom. A couple of plants have grown so far out of their pots as to have cascaded onto the floor below, but even they couldnt hide much, and certainly nothing as big as attacked the gnome. A quick glance doesnt reveal anything hidden among the glassware either.
