I think the first movie will either end on a cliffhanger with the dwarves captured by the spiders, or on a resolution of sorts just after Bilbo has rescued them from said spiders and the dwarves may have a new respect for Bilbo.

Either way, I'm looking forward to these films!

Cool. Can't wait for the hires promo pics of Freeman as Bilbo.

Also, you can really tell in that first pic that those two are related to Gimli. The physical and stylistic similarities kinda drive this point home.

They certainly look impressive, and I can see that they'll be popular as character portraits for years to come.

In the second image, Nori Ori and Dori look like they'd make an excellent cleric, mage and rogue respectively.
