Wow. At my distributor in Canada, I can still reorder Exclusive Covers, but they are out of the Regular Cover (presumably UT will shift to the other way around soon enough). I'm sorry that my NZ friends are getting left out!

Yeah. My guess is the North American supply came from a US printer, whereas the international supply (or at least the Oceania supply) was printed in China or thereabouts.

Sad to hear they are not re-printing the alt-cover and I hope my paid pre-order stands. I liked that much more than the standard cover.
I had promised to buy another alt-cover for a family member using my store credit, but didn't manage to do so until the store closed pre-orders because of supply limitations.

The printing issue isn't necessarily WotC's fault, but the fact that they are apparently not printing more to make sure everyone who wants one gets one is questionable.

Printing Issue is not WotCs fault - the decision not to remedy this is - I was happy to wait, as I said there was alraedy a two month delay

This is yet another reason that I feel I made the right choice deciding to wait for the inevitable Christmas 2025 slipcase. I just hope they do a version with these alt covers, as I really like the alt DMG and alt MM. (The alt PHB was my least favorite of the three.)
