Break out those advanced wild boar stats, ladies and gentlemen!

I like using "normal" critters as monsters - too many owlbears and griffons and leucrottae take away the magic for me - and this is a good reminder of how advancing a normal animal can make a good opponent for a mid-level party.

Plus, gotta love the name "Hogzilla!"

That's an advanced dire boar if I ever saw one. I hear wild pigs are some of the most vicious critters around...

Still a bit light in the flesh to be a Dire Boar. Dire Boars weigh 2000 lbs and are 12 ft in length, but given that it was dead for 6 months, it probably would've just made Dire Boar when alive. Freaky!

Well my Google-Fu must be weak. Despite my best efforts I could not turn up a picture of the Hogzilla Festival Princess anywhere. But I'm just dyin' to know what that gal must look like.

If that is what a regular wild boar is capable of becoming in the right environment, I really wonder what an extremely large dire boar could become ?!?
