HOL -- Does anybody play it?

Wow.. I had forgotten about HOL entirely. I have not played this game it at least 10 years. I remember spending hours with the character generation charts... You gotta love a game where the main character generation tool is referred to (iirc) as the "Chart Chart".

Man... that game was great. Mind you.. I am not sure we every actually played it. :)

HOL was great fun (plus we also had the Buttery Wholesomeness supplement). I think we spent 6 hours generating characters and 1 hour playing but that's not the point. The point is that I made a self-regenerating warbot with big frickin' guns!

Definitely the most entertaining rulebooks to read, either way.

Hōl

I enjoyed playing The Man with No Nām. He had a couple of interesting stuff going on. His best ability was Make an Entrance and he had a horse - The Horse with No Nām. :D

Interestingly it's pronounced Hole. The macron on the vowels is in place of an 'e' at the end of the word. At least that's my theory. Which is mine.
