Hold your enemies closer

You may have read about my campaign with Valicor, Varius, LG, and others in the "Some players are complete @sses" post.

If you were me, and you decidd that kicking any of the players wasn't an option, what would you do to bring the party together?

Please post any ideas

bitter medicine

If I were the DM of your group and was determined to keep the group together as you are I would put your present campaign on hold and start a new one. I have read the other thread and killing this guy's character is just going to piss the player off. He needs to be taught how to roleplay. Impossible? Maybe. But what if you started a new campaign with pre-generated characters or at least characters generated to your specifications. Insist that your friend play a female with some weak characteristics. Or maybe a crippled (low strength) half-orc rogue. You get the idea. Get him out of his comfort zone. Then give xp awards for good role play. Just maybe, he'll learn something and come around. Good luck. ;)

LG always insists on being noble right? You could rule that his family has become un-noble(whatever that's called) and that his family name has reduced his social standing to something less than a rabid dog off of the street.

This is an idea I would like to work with, and see what happens. if a method similar to this one works I would certanily be alot more understanding. I'm not trying to sound as if you have to do it, I like this idea though.
