Holding the charge and SLAs

If a caster is holding the charge on a touch spell and casts another spell, the charge dissipates.

Does the same apply to SLAs?

What if the caster has passed the charge on to an Improved Familiar via the "Touch Spells" quality? If the caster casts another spell, the charge still dissipates; can the familiar use a SLA?

Does the charge the familiar carries dissipate if the master touches anything with his hand? If the familiar does?

I would assume so, as SLAs generally function just like spells, except for components and the like. As to the other questions, I don't know. Its too early. :)

The charge works as usual - for the creature that carries it. So the wizard should be able to shake hands with people, but the familiar will probably zip whatever it touches first (although there is the problem what the familiar touches the enemy with. A forepaw might be problematic, as the familiar usually walks with it and touches the floor with each step....)
