Hollywood Directors become Dungeon Masters!

A Terry Gilliam campaign could be a blast, if you had some reasonably thoughtful players... Good mix of clever humor -- even silly humor -- while still being somehow serious.

Great choice, "Fisher King" is an amazing movie.

I'm suprized no one mentioned James Cameron. Action, Drama, and a Cast of Thousands.

Mmmm, afraid KODT ruined Lynch for me... when I think of him GMing a D&D game I see a naked Andy Warhol shouting "I am the dice man! Koo koo koo joob!"

/em gnarlo!

Straczynski. In fact, I like this Idea so much that I am going to try it. ::::Eosin grabs note pad and begins to write::::::

Midnight, I did not really get into, but Rising Stars!. It is one of my personal comic iconics now, up with Miracle man (?), DKR, Legion - Darkseid saga, and The One.

I would like to see him do a fantasy TV series.

On a team up -
Rami would do good for the action - Smith of course would need review all the scripts and write - Jackson could design the world.

Christopher Walken would need to play the bad guy priest of darkness.

Hmmm... here are some of my personal favorites lately:

1. The Wachowski Brothers. Philosophy, pacing, and incredible talent for storytelling action.

2. Ang Lee. He is one of the most versatile directors I've seen and has a great eye for conflict, both internal and external, which really drives his movies.

3. John Woo. Of course, he already has his own RPG. Feng Shui anyone?
